HorizonGrid Technologies is hiring a Junior Software Developer to help build our energy monitoring software. Reporting to Selena Carrasco, you will work on dashboards, data pipelines and integrations with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build features for energy monitoring dashboards
  • Help develop data pipelines for site data
  • Write tests and fix bugs
  • Integrate with device and utility APIs
  • Take part in code reviews
  • Document code and processes

Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or bootcamp training
  • Knowledge of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Basic understanding of databases and APIs
  • Interest in renewable energy
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Able to work from our Tampa office on a hybrid schedule
